Acknowledgements:

We are grateful to all those who have contributed to the Roll of Honour online memorial, particularly Dr Eric Webb and Mr Chris Wheeler, who have researched biographical notes for First and Second World War casualties. We would like to thank Bill Austin for allowing us to publish his reference work on the School during the Second World War (Charterhouse at War 1939-1945). Old Carthusian war graves across the world have been visited and photographed by a large team of OCs, Carthusians, parents and friends as part of Charterhouse’s First World War centenary commemorations, and we would particularly like to thank Tom Pearson-Chisman for his invaluable support with the graves project. Digitisation of the School magazines and photograph albums was made possible by generous funding from the Carthusian Society. Thanks are also due to Mark Coleman and the SDS-Group team.
